You modded your xbox, so what your saying is that you want to transfer the game save of the SID installer onto your pc. Why don't you just use the memory card? Load the original MS Dash and use the gamesaves manager to tranfer the contents onto the memory card. Its easier if you are going to mod another box. Also copy the Lunix loader of the game.

The SID installer is located in E:\UDATA\2xxxxxxxx

In order to transfer the gamesaves from your computer onto the memory you will need a usb memory card dock, like Action Replay.

If you don't have this you can't transfer the gamesaves onto memory card from your computer.
That's why its best that you transfer the gamesaves from your xbox onto memory card.

If you are still having issues with it detecting the memory card in FTP (Some do), simply copy the gamesave from within the .zip file (should be a UDATA folder) into the UDATA folder on the E:\ of the modded console.

Then simply use the Xboxs GUI to copy the file back across to the memory card!

    ;)

I thought you said that you wanted to transfer the gamesaves from your pc directly to memory card, I guess i misunderstood what you had asked. Yeah ftp can do it, as you have now discovered. Well done.

do you have a link to transfer emulators to the xbox by ftp

    heres what i done!
i took the complete emus folder and transfered it to my xbox e:apps in the apps folder i have dvd2xbox(which was there from a when i first had it modded)then the emus folder was in there after the transfer.......when i restarted my xbox and went into applications there was only the dvd2xbox option

any insight on this would be great
    thanks

The emulators are in a folder within another folder. The dashboard will detect the directory path folder, but every other folder within that directory must contain the default.xbe in the main directory of each separate folder. That's why the dash cannot detect the emulators. The emulators should be in the root directory of E:\ named "Emulators" so that the emulators appear in the sub-menu of Emulators of the dashboard main menu.

If you want to organize your xbox and want less clutter of folders in E:\ you can keep everything in one folder. In order to achieve this you will need (depending on what dash your are using) to edit the .ini or .xml files to search for specified locations as to where your emulators, apps, music, ect is located on your hard drive.
