I have a 6200 with no cooling or overclocking, and can run UT3 fine. Just adjust for low end settings
the trouble then i suppose must be the motherboard (its an ECS) thanks for the input the problem i am having is that the menu screen freezes after about ten seconds into the game being loaded up (not mission, the actual game) do you have the piplines enabled? (the 8 pipeline mod?) thanks
Dell dimension 4600c, with Pentium 4 processor. I got 2 gigs of DDR ram, so i guess that helps. Dont use any mods for UT3. Im guessing your mobo is what is crashing your game
thanks, same here (2gigs) but the dumb mobo is an ECS 915p-a v1.2a i dont know if you have been lured into this kind of deal by frys before but thats how they get rid of these mobos. They make a "combo" deal and you have to buy the mobo in order to get the cpu at the "amazing" price...
