geforce 7950 acting funny

    I recently bought an evga geforce 7950. It works alright, but when I open a game, its fan goes to full speed and is very loud. Then when I quit the game, it'll return to normal after a few minutes.

    anyone else have the same issue?

    the game causes the gpu to heat up fast which is why the fan goes fast & loud to cool the gpu.

    Do you suggest I get an RMA? Or is it something I just gotta live with?

    talk to the place you got the card from but most likely live with it. what is the total # of fans in the computer?
