General Questions About Toshiba HD Players E30-E1

Hi, just wanted to ask some general questions about Toshiba's E30 and E1,

My E30 can display some great picture quality but certain scenes like in the matrix reloaded are so grainy, especially things like shots showing the sky or darker scenes, is this normal as i've seen it on the Xbox 360 and the grain is hardly visible, i understand the Xbox has far more processing power.

And i bought an E1, as it was going cheap, as a backup, is the picture quality the same as the E30 or as good or bad and are there any pro's and con's of each player over the other, thanks for any input.

PS. normal dvd's look almost as good as HD if not the same in some scenes with the upscaling so if the new Tosh dvd player coming out with this new technology that makes it look even better is any good then even Blu-Ray could go the same way as HD dvd?
