getting past copy protection

    i need help. everytime i go to burn a dvd movie it says "some types of format cannot be copied" and it goes on to say something bout some dvd's are fitted with a copy protection. is there any way i can overcome this copy protection.

    Rip the DVD to your harddrive first using DVD Decrypter. This program will remove region protection and macrovision, thus solving your copy protection problem and allowing you to make a backup of the DVD.
    If the ripped files are too big to put on a DVD-R, use DVD-Shrink to compress them down to size.
