getting soft mod to work with halo 2

I don't know. All i know is i get modded so much even after the update. I had enough and I want to join the modding club. Please tell me how to mod (any kind of modding) and send it to evjloreo@hotmail.com if you don't want to post it on this forum.

PS. There may just be an extra 2 month free trial on my hands (wink wink)

-xbox-scene.com best overall site has everything from modchips to super jumps
-how2xbox.com Great site for beginners includes tutorials for softmodding, hdd upgrades

This will be my first and last post, as i never want to enter this cesspit of modding ever again. I just thought id post this to tell all modders what i think of them.People who mod to get extra content, i dont condone piracy but i guess it must be pretty cool to have extra stuff to do with your games. But to the people who play on multiplayer u r worthless pieces of shit. U mod and hack to gain levels in a game that are actually just little numbers next to your name. You cheat your way to win but u dont realize that when u win, it means nothing,cause it required no skill. But if un played honestly and won, u feel a sense of acheivement that you had more skill than the other team. You spend time (and often money) to raise yout level in a video-game. The people who say it is fun to mod in matchmaking, U r selfish bastards. U ruin the game for other people just to get a shittty kick out of modding. Me and my friends dont take matchmaking seriously, because we realize your rank is only used to find you good games, not to boast with.But when we see you morons modding to "have fun" we feel pity for you. Although that pity is eclipsed by the anger we let out. I hope all you sad fuckers get banned from x-box live so i never have to see u scum again.

AMEN....yes halo 2 and the modding reputation has been ruined by everybody using ppf patches to fix their games to work...almost 30 people were banned from matchmaking on my list after they found out how to mod. Its pointless to cheat in a video game. Yes mods are fun and i do have quite a few maps i've redone myself so im not talking out of my ass. And to clear up some questions hard modding and soft modding are exactly the same in both aspects except in a hard mod you put a chip in the xbox. YOU CANNOT MOD GAME FILES WITH THIS. i have been asked this so many times i would like to just clear that up. If you want to learn to mod go to halomaps.com and hit the damn SEARCH button at the top of the page for what your looking for. and if you want to show off what you actually made go on xbox connect..its free and you wont get banned. simple as that...

Now if you really are that obsessed that you HAVE to have that you for one...have no life...two...get shoved into lockers and beat up after school. go to xbox-scene.com and get down the basics. once you have evox setup you can then run the unsigned code and/or maps. If you managed to not fusk it up so far the only way you can MOD the maps is if you ftp em to your computer and then open the maps up and edit from there. DO NOT ASK where to get the software. like i said before click the SEARCH BUTTON...."lyke OMFG!!!SHIFT111" ya....well wudda u know....theres the answer to your question right there....about 20 times from other n00bs like you not bothering to read. If you have anything you did to the actual texture of the map and not just the normal "autoaim/run fast/ no reload...ect..." i would love to join the game on xbc and see what you did...i have around 45ish of the origional maps remade....and please, PLEASE flame me! alright guy i wouldent try to use mech. because of a couple of my friends tryed to do it and both of them fried there xbox.
so if u have yahoo instant messenger and splinter cell the first one ill show u how to do softmod ur xbox and u also have to have action replay so send me an emale ill show u how to do it

 

It matters not if you use mechassault, splinter cell or 007....if someone messes up their Xbox, it's because of some dumb shit that THEY did, not the game....
