    Nah, my two other accounts got 100 as soon as I got them. My original account only had 3 for a while, then 6, and now 100. Well, I've used some, so not 100, but in total I have about 260.

    A 2 day ban? Well, your call creaky. If you want my honest opinion it's getting a bit ban-happy around here of late, people being banned for things they should really have been told off for. I imagine some people may not return for the hostility...

    well what can i say, there's only so much slack you can give so many people so much of the time. i'm turning in as it's late and i've worked and commuted for the day; this thread just about sums it up - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/380197/2304918

    how about all mods ceasefire helping out here for a week, you lot would soon be bitching if your little parts of AD weren't being kept clean, we see the bigger picture and that's after a very long day at work :)

    Oh of course, you mods are very efficient and I admire that, but one does wonder whether you give yourself more work than you need to! Are you a UK person, creaky? 11:30 sounds about a good bedtime to me, and that's what it is here.

    we need to put more work into AD to make up for the lack of effort from a good proportion of our posters :)

    (yup i'm in UK and it is early but i get up at 5am and i was already 2hours late for work today).

    anyways, you posters really shouldn't see it as us being ban-happy, we're really not, and at the end of the day we shouldn't have to babysit people; as i say often, i post a fair bit on work-related indepth Unix techie forums and we just don't ever have this stuff go on; the worst i ever usually see is the rare mis-placed post; it gets very old very quickly to see so much random crap from posters here that quite frankly don't need to post/act the way they do. if people could follow a few rules/be polite etc etc there'd be no need for us mods, just like somemof the forums i use for work :) <end rant>

    If i did agree that it was ban happy here, then i would say better safe than sorry, and id prefer a "lockdown" style aD than a freeforall.
