    Hello
The card I have is a Geforce 6800GT, I have not updated the drivers for a while as I have had no problems with running games - until recently.

This is a screen shot of what is happening

    http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa120/DJHedges/WoWScrnShot_062207_181603.jpg

Now I thought this was just an issue with this game (wow), but I have now played another and getting the same type of problem as in the picture.

Should I be updating the drivers for the card or could there be something wrong with the card itself?

The other day I did try to update the drivers anyway just to see if it would help but once installed it made the game alot worse.

Any help would be appreciated and any info needed just ask

    Thankyou

i think your card has a problem with it as possible dying ram. rollback the newest driver to original to see what happens.

    Hi
I have already gone back to the oldest driver since trying to update it. Should I try reinstalling the orignal drivers again?

check gpu temperatures right after a game it would have been overheating.

a friend of mine also has a 6800gt thats slowly dying too (sorry to break it to you but it is) the only way we found for him to keep using it was to get the latest forceware (94.24 i think) do the coolbits reg edit and manualy underclock the card.

you could try it too and see if it works for you.

you will need to change the control panle type to classic veiw so that you can see the clock fvrequency options tho.

latest forceware for win2k and xp
    coolbits registry hack
