If a motherboard is certified to 8X AGP, that does not mean that only 8X AGP cards are to be used, there are a variety of excelent video cards, but keep in mind, that the video card you choose need not been 8X, but all of the high performance video cards are, spending money on a video card can be a good investment, but you should devote more money for the computer's ram(that will cause more noticable performance) than to the video card. Just for a simple answer, I recomend a couple of cards:
    ATI ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 8500 128MB AGP
    ATI RADEON 9000 128MB AGP 2X/4X DDR W/TV-OUT ATI RADEON 9700 PRO 128MB AGP 8X DDR
    G4-4200VTD 8XAGP TI-4200 128B DDR W/VIVO G4TI4200-TD 128MB 4XAGP DDR W/TV & DVI OUT
