In post #8 on this thread "ddp" told you that you either overclocked too much or it was overheating. More than one person has told you to turn off the overclock on the card. Did you set it back to stock speeds? If not, do that now. If you are still having problems, take off the side panel and have a large house fan blowing at the inside of the case. If your system is now stable, then the problem is too much heat (need more cooling). If you are still having problems with the card, then you probably fried something when you screwed with the settings. Overclocking/ tweaking can be a fun, but ultimately expensive hobby.

ok so if i uninstall rivatuner will the clock go back to normal ?

and when i open rivatuner it says that it doesnt support the driver i have ... so i guess ill try the fan thing ..

If you re-installed the drivers then your clock speeds and everything else is set to default, so everything should be normal already.

Damn...ya cant take a hint. Take a fricken house fan...open up the case, and blast the card. That will elimate the heating issue. If ya still got a blue screen then the card is fucked or the game...plain and simple. Merry Xmas!:>

the ati x300 is a low end card

req for bf2 is diretx 9.0c

    http://www.ea.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/features.jsp

    I dont think x300 is 9.0c compatible

Its should run it but will give lots of vid problems have 2 keep on all low vid settings

    uninstall bf2

    Delete folders

    C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2

    C:\Documents and Settings\"MYNAME"\My Documents\Battlefield 2

    Reinstall

Dont try to bump up vid settings
