If I'm honest, ATI's dual GPU card effort is highly likely to be inferior to any SLI-based product. Crossfire is still a very patchy technology, whereas SLi has improved greatly since it was first released. I would be highly surprised if either company makes such a card before the end of the year though.
Screw all the budget stuff.. What would be the BEST card for the money, like it doesn't have to be the absolutely best card ever, but what card do u get the MOST bang for your buck? anybody know?
Thanks, I think I'm gonna go with this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814241063 I bought this psu a little while ago and I'm not sure if it could support the new card: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220122353653 If I need to buy a new power supply could you recommend one good enough to run my junk under $50? Thanks.
sorry, last question... my budget just increased to 275$ for a graphics card... whats the best I could get for that?
I'd say this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814241063 I know it's cheaper than $275, and it's no 8800, but I'm not that fond of the 320MB GTS, and that's all that budget will allow for. That's probably the best card for under that budget, so save some money!
