    aabbccdd I have the up most hatred for rock music. It is the biggest load of crap anyone could hear. And without guitars this lower than scum genre would be finished. I wait the day guitars are destroyed. As you can guess I love rap music. The rap industry is worth more than the rock industry. And don't bother to mention how rappers kill people. Just take a look at what happened to Kurt Cobain.

    BTW, does anyone know why Rap4life is inactive. Has he been suspended or permanently banned.

    well your def. in the minority weazel200 rap music is only like less than 5% of the record sales a year so rock and roll is MUCH more mainstream than rap is or will EVER be and rock actually takes talent to play than anyone rapping just listen to any Dream Theater album you will see what i mean. and yeah i pretty sure rap4life was banned to many stupid and useless post.

    I don't really hate rock music. I just said that to annoy you. The genre just isnt for me. Anyway in terms of mainstream music your probably right. Rock is more succesfull but that's because there's less swearing and profanity. I hate mainstream music. I don't care about the charts. It destroys some artists careers. Take 50 Cent, before he was well known and doing underground mix tapes I could actually listen to his music. But know after listening to the massacre album all the songs sound similar and I don't think he can do a song with out saying that horrid cath phrase "GGGGG G-Unit" on it. He's nothing but a sell out. I'm glad him and Game spilt as Game has so much more potential. 50 thinks he's king of New York but he'll never be on the same level as B.I.G.

    Totally with you on that one. I only listen to the radio if there is a specialist show on for the music I listen to. The same goes for MTV really. They play videos censored but why do they bother as the artist intended for it to be listend to the way they made it. I say either play the video uncensored or don't play it at all. But then again we must be considerate for the younger ones.

    I much prefer listening to any album in my 140 CD collection (seems nothing comapared to the size of your collection). I plan to rip all the albums to my mp3 player but it's gonna take time.

    @solargame
    I think I can handle being the moderator here. If aabbccdd is out of line report it to a mod. He wasn't out of line.

    @bobright
    One more post like that and you're gone.

    @everyone
    One more problem on this thread and it's closed. I don't need to spend my day babysitting a bunch of kids who can't get along. The Safety Valve is here as a courtesy for discussing things unrelated to our main forums. It's not here so you can have childish flamewars.
