    After the conversion it should not longer be a vob file. The DVD Decrypter creates a VOB file that needs to be converted by Videora. After the conversion you need to find the file that Videora made [go to settings and it will tell you where the file that was converted is] and then you can either open up that folder and drag the file into your library, or open up iTunes and add the file as you would add a song. I'm not sure if I understood your question correctly but I hope this helps.

    [bold]umm[/bold] - what do you use to convert and what settings do you apply?

    Ah, you may want to check the other guide out then. I do not use cucusoft. dkmopq who wrote the other guide may be able to help you out.

    I'm not going to lie, I can't remember where the original file goes to, but I think it might have been in the Programs folder? You can find that if you go My Computer -> C Drive -> And there should be a folder labeled programs. I really can't remember though, maybe someone else could help you out, or you could install the program again, which would reset it's defaults. You might also consider trying a search on your computer of whatever you saved the video title as, assuming you know what it is saved as.

    Now for one of my problems: Does anyone know how to queue videos on Videora, I can't for the life of me figure it out.

    DarkJello - if whilst you are converting a video you click on 'transcode new video,' it should queue for you :)

    Hey i got it to WORK! thanks man, one question though, i put the movie Dumb and Dumber on my Ipod, and it doesnt have chapters so when i want to see the movie i always start from the begining. To see a special part or the end of the movie, i have to hold down the fastfoward button, is there anything that i do to get chapters, or fast forward quicker? Also if i have a disk of seinfeld, is it possible to put only 1 episode, or would i have to put all 5 on the disk. thanks for the help

    Press and release the center button on the scroll wheel and you can scroll the timeline. As you move your finger around the scroll wheel the timeline will advance but the movie will stay in the same place till you stop scrolling. Don't press any buttons once you stop scrolling and it will jump to the new time. I figured this out by accident.

    Thanks for giving me the chance to build some message board karma. Maybe someone will help me eventually.

    Good luck.

    i tried to download using dvd decrypter and then videora yesterday and it seemed to work ok apart from a few problems mentioned before. but now when i open videora i get a box up saying 'an unhandled exception has occurred in your application. if you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue if you click quit the application will be shut down immediately.' i clicked continue but the same message came up every time i clicked on transcode new video and it will not work. any ideas anyone?

    If you are getting error messages like that, I'd suggest reinstalling the application. Try it, if no luck, post back :)

    ndp699, if you want chapters, assuming you are using DVD Decrypter, you can just unselect all the other chapters doing one chapter at a time. Then label each chapter as Dumb and Dumber, and tag them with a number;

    Dumb and Dumber 1 then the next chapter Dumb and Dumber 2, when you get to the tenth chapter though you have to write 9 - 1 for 10 instead of 10 so the iPod will see it in the proper order. Add all these files to iTunes and create a playlist called Dumb and Dumber. And when you want to watch the movie just go to movie playlists and select 'Dumb and Dumber'. There will be a slight pause inbetween chapters but you'll get what you want :)

    That's quite a brainwave Darkjello, but it is a bit annoying having 10 + pauses throughout the movie, it's very distracting..

    hey lethal
    sorry to be such a pain, but i reinstalled videora and i don't get that error message anymore :) which is fab thanx. but wen i used dvd decrypter it put my movie into about 10 sections all called vts_0?_? so i used videora on one of them and got it on my ipod, but does that mean i have to do that for each section and click on the next one when the previous one finishes on the ipod. should it not just download the whole movie as 1? thanks again!
