When you open pqdvd does it ask you to purchase the full version?
If it does not then you have got the full version.

Open pqdvd then insert the DVD in you're drive,It should detect the DVD automatically.
In the case where it doesn't click on the red "open" button and select "open a DVD" then it will show you a list of things on you're computer just simply locate the dvd.
and once it's started showing it on the small screen in pqdvd click on the red "record" button and then it will start recording.

No, just click on the CD drive where you're DVD is placed.

WTH am i doing wrong?!?!

    Try using a different DVD.

As I understand it, if the DVD is copy protected you will need to remove this either by a background program or by ripping it to your hard drive. On the main DVD decrypter screen check the "Mode" tab, "File F" should be checked off as this will allow the DVD to be ripped to your drive using .VOB files rather than .ISO. Then you will have what you need to convert to iPod.

Ok i found out how to make a vob file but how do i know which one i need to convert to make a mp4 movie?? when you put a dvd on decrypter it shows every vob file, i just picked the biggest one thinking it was the main movie and it worked, but after converting it threw videora it wont play?? It just says "error cant open file 80004005" how do i know which files i need to make a mp4 of just the main feature on a dvd?

When you insert your dvd you should see a list of all of the VOB, IFO, and BUP files in the window on the right of the screen. You should not see something like this:

    TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552B TS11 (ATA)
    Current Profile: DVD-ROM
    Disc Information:
    Status: Complete
    Erasable: No
    Sessions: 1
    Sectors: 4,069,628
    Size: 8,334,598,144 bytes
    Time: 904:23:53 (MM:SS:FF)
    Physical Format Information (Last Recorded):
    Book Type: DVD-ROM
    Part Version: 1
    Disc Size: 120mm
    Maximum Read Rate: 10.08Mbps
    Number of Layers: 2
Track Path: Opposite Track Path (OTP)
    Linear Density: 0.293 um/bit
    Track Density: 0.74 um/track

If you see this you have the wrong thing checked off. If you cannot figure out what the settings are you can go to the "tools" tab then "Settings" and click on the "Defaults" key. If you have a list of VOB files, etc in the window on the right then all you should need to do is hit the DVD to hard drive icon in the middle of the window. That's about all of the help I can give. If it doesn't work you may want to search or post a thread in the DVD forums. They are great at getting to questions very quickly.

Just run the whole DVD through DVD decrypter. You will end up with a few VTS_01_X files where X is some number. Usually you will have 4-6 large files, around 1 GB. That is because decrypter separates the film into smaller chunks. Once you have them on your HD you find the largest files and check them with WMP, unless you convert them to mpeg or .avi files to make one large file out of them, you will have to run them through videora separately then rename them in sequence, i.e. King Kong 1, King Kong 2, etc. I just tried it and it worked fine but I had the movie in 5 parts. They all converted to mp4 though. If anyone has a better way please chime in. "Ahem"...Lethal...

....Or just follow the instructions on the VERY FIRST PAGE of this guide to see DETAILED screen shots of how to use DVD decrypter to create one large file out of the movie then videora to convert to .mp4. I knew I saw this somewhere before. DOHHH!

ok yeah it does work but only in parts. is their a way to combine the created vob files to make make one big vob file? or is their a way to combine the mp4 sections together as one, before sending it to my ipod??

it's very simple, just click on "open..."and then click "open a DVD"if you have inserted a DVD next it will give you a list of things that are under"my computer",one of the things under"my computer"should be the DVD that you inserted in you're CD drive so just left click once on the movie and then click ok once.

I tryed to make it as simple as possible if there is any part you get confused at please tell me.
