Atreyu11 - it is watermarked. This is because it is only the trial version. You need to purchase the full version to be able to remove the watermark
I have read through your guide at least 5 times, but when i try it on my computer it wont work. Could you possibly give me a step by step using videora or psp video 9, i know that you decribed how to do it in your guide, but it wont worl for me, when i find the files and when i right click them it wont bring up open with like you said
Guys, If you are having trouble with videora, have a look here, you might find a solution. Known Bugs Audio/Video sync [bold]Problem[/bold] - Output files can be out-of-sync. While no set pattern has been established, it seems to be more frequent with input files of 23.976 fps, non-DVD rips, and WMV/MPG filetypes. [bold]Workaround solutions[/bold] - Try the custom option '-async 1'. If the disconnect gradually increases over time, setting 29.97 fps sometimes gets rid of the problem regardless of the input fps. You can also use AviSynth to assume the FPS and have the audio sync to that. If it's a sudden disconnect, check your VOB Cell settings in DVD Decrypter settings per this thread. Otherwise, test with an AviSynth script per the DaProphecy's method in the FAQ. For non-DVD files, PSPVideo 9 may be a good short-term solution until the converter stabilizes some more or try something like AviDemux. Audio track not getting picked up [bold]Problem[/bold] - The IFO stream rip is fine, but the converted file has no sound. The debug info showed to audio track getting picked up. The most obvious case with this is the Madagascar DVD. [bold]Workaround solution ideas[/bold] - Test with an AviSynth script per the DaProphecy's method in the FAQ (untested). Use a different DVD ripper. Program doesn't start (.NET issue?) [bold]Problem[/bold] - Converter errors upon starting with an extended dump. [bold]Solution ideas[/bold] - Update .NET framework (in all languages you're using!) to most recent solution. Clean out registry. Neither of these have worked for some. Progress meter incorrect [bold]Problem[/bold] - During transcodes, the progress meter can be incorrect; thus, transcoding continues after the meter hits 100% and time remaining is zero. People have been seeing this more often with VOB files and/or the H.264 codec. [bold]Workaround[/bold] - Figure out the length of your movie in seconds and compare that to the 'Processed' field. A 2-hour movie will not finish until Processed hits 7200 seconds. Artifacts (bad video quality) in darker scenes [bold]Problem[/bold] - Scenes with darker background colors tend to have more artifacts (blocked video). It's much more obvious on the iPod, so this may be an Apple firmware problem. [bold]Workaround ideas [/bold]- Use a VBR setting (FQ->VBR, two-pass A->VBR) to improve video quality. The custom option '-mbd 2' might help. Desktop icon [bold]Problem[/bold] - When installing, the desktop icon does not appear/stick when using lower color setups. [bold]Workarounds[/bold] - Select a 32-bit color scheme in your desktop settings, or change the icon in the shortcut. Profile changes don't always stick [bold]Problem[/bold] - If you make a change to a profile, click apply, and immediately trancdoe with that profile, the transcode might not use the new settings. [bold]Workarounds[/bold] - Once you click apply, swtich to another profile and back again to make sure the change is still there. If that doesn't work, create a new profile. Can only install/use with admin rights [bold]Problem [/bold]- There have been reports of non-admin users not being able to use the converter. [bold]Workarounds [/bold]- Separate installs or give all users admin rights. -I am currently looking for the solution to the problems of the rest of you. Be patient
Lethal B good work my friend love the guides but... where can I find a guide for putting videos onto my ipod...What settings do I use for Videora iPod Converter not PSPVideo9.... Thanks,, chapp
Hello chapp, nice to meet you. It's easier if you do it like this: You tell me what settings you are using and what's going wrong, and then i'll tell you what parts you are doing wrong and where you need to adjust things. Welcome to the Forums buddy
Ok i've done everything and i'm pretty sure everything is working fine but it says 18hrs to transcode the video in videora is that average or did i do something wrong?
i am sorry but i am too lazy to look in the other posts becuase there are so many but has any one had the problem that when using quicktime they export it to a mpeg-4 using the standard setting for the H.264 when if finishs there is no sound on the file it plays but there is no sound i have tried many other settings but it doesn't work and i don't know whats wrong. so if some one could help that would be deeply appreciated. thanks
30gipod - how big is the video you are transcoding, and how fast/slow is your PC? it really shouldn't be taking that long.
Hi guys, I'm new. I was converting a video from the ripped DVD to the Ipod mode. All is fine but there is no sound. Can anyone help? Thank you.
Hi Lethal, I have read through the whole thread and thanks very much for your time helping us with this. The problem I am experiencing is the same as a couple of people in this thread but I cant see where/how to fix it, i hope you can help me.... I have converted a movie to m4v fine (using QT7pr) and I have it in iTunes and I have also moved it accross sucessfully to my iPod. When I play the movie with quicktime it works fine BUT when I go to watch it on my iPod I get the audio with no video. I saw this thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/258709 but i still cant find what to do to correct this. I hope you can help me with this, and thanks in advance. Ryan
Is the screen black, or does it show the video information? If it shows the video information it means you have your Video Out set to on, which your going to want to change. If not I'm not really sure what the problem is and hopefully lethal can help you out!
marwaha83 - I am not altogether sure what the problem is, or how to solve it. But, It's a bit quiet in here tonight thus far, so i'll do a bit of research and see what I can come back with
hey lethal. u posted a solution to the audio/video sync issue for videora, but you said "Try the custom option '-async 1'." i dont see any custom options =\ thanks again
