I'm trying to help my brother connect his guitar to a speaker(many speakers in the house), i have tried the following setup but no luck.

I have a 6.3mm Mono Jack(Guitar end) to 2xRCA Phone plugs male(red and white), after this i connect the RCA Phone Plugs to a 2xRCA(females) to 3.5mm jack(male) which fits into my speaker.
But when connected i don't hear nothing :(.

Yet if i have tested the connection with other devices in place of the guitar which play fine both ways forward or backwards, i need help please ;)

Image attached of the parts i have excluding the guitar and speakers
