I recently converted some of my DVD movies to the H.264 format to play on my pc. I used Nero 6 Digital. It plays fine in Nero's Player (Showtime) but in the latest version of quictime it plays choppy and pixelated. What could be causing this?

Quicktime Player sucks, especially under windows. The choppyness would be because it is not as efficient and requires more CPU than other players/decoders. The pixelation, I am not sure. Nero 6's AVC encoder doesn't support any High Profile features, so the output (other than he aac audio) should be compatible with Quicktime.

Basically I just wouldn't suggest using Quicktime for playback or encoding.
