Halo 2 Modded Maps not working on XBC

when i go and join a game in xbc it says that i can't load the map....i downloaded .ppf for just auto-aim from a4h.us and i used them in multiplayer but when i go to system link and go to play online it says i can't load the maps...whats wrong...someone please help

 

Did you resign them?

 

Sounds like the ppf file might have altered the name of the map in a hex value or the mainmenu.map file or you didn't properly encrypt the map before ftp-ing. Also yes, you need to resign the maps.

 

how do you resign them??? i got this thing that came with it and it said to upload the map then put in the .ppf and click apply and then just ftp them up...its called ppf-o-matic....do i still need to resign them after i do taht

 

i use dothalo, hit apply ppf patch and then hit fix encryption, there is no resigning there and the maps still work.

 

Are they the originol maps or new?

 

never mind i got it to work....i just had to resign the maps....does anyone know of any good sites to get .ppf's for...please let me know

i downloaded the killtrocity map pack 2...how do i get it onto my xbox..i have a modded xbox and halo 2 is already on my xbox
