HALO 2 MODDING tutorial - NO EMAIL addresses or instant banning

because im thinking of just using auro aim and automatic fire is that the same thing as modding maps? and im having trouble bringing up the modding dash board thing...and can u use a platinum edition spliter cell game?

 

i softmodded my xbox...what dash board do i need to get online?

 

erm. yeh im a new modder and im wonderein if you guys could help me out. I tried making mods for the first time yesterday on dothalo for backwash. ive read many tut's and i followed them. when i finished i FTP ed it back to my xbox and the map would never load. it always sez ' you failed to load the map '. oh yeh by the way i need a link for softmod installer deluxe coz i wanna copy halo 2 to my hardrive.
I do have a evo x dashboard but i have to run splinter cell first. Can any of you guys HELP ME OUT

the reason it says you failed to load map is you have to resign the map

 

and can someone give me some info on if you can mod halo 2 with a mac os x (im pretty sure you cant) thanks

I know a lot of people who have modded the old halo 2 maps without copying the whole game onto their xbox. So any ideas on how to mod the old maps?

 

It's pretty difficult modding old maps you have to do alot i know that but.....its very complicated! you need to stick with new maps!

 

Yea modding old maps would be hard just stick with the new maps. I just modded the new maps and its really easy.

Yea modding the Origanal Maps are just as easy as modding the new ones ...you just can't go on live and you need to put halo2 too your HDD

 

Hey how do you unmodd an xbox cause i want to go on xbox live

 

look at one of the tutorials at the main menu of the software discussion for xbox

 

You can't go on Xbox Live because when you loaded up a certain dashboard and it probably changes your IP to 192.168.0.3 or something like that. Load up your MS Dashboard (the original Xbox one.) go into Network Settings, change you IP to Automatic. Then you should be able to go on XBL again.

 

hey i have an x box 360 and i used to mod on x box and i wanna know if anyone can give me a step by step on how to mod halo 2 on the 360

 

well no has figured that out, YET!, how every i dont think that you can mod halo2 on xbox, but i cannot confirm cause i dont have xbox360 yet. thx to "sorry xbox360 out of stock" and i dont want to get it now cause i heard it has some faults to be fixed so im waitn until end of da year to get it with halo 3.

 

you can only mod the new maps right?
also i can get a mod chip and install it but how do u get modded maps over to your box? flashfxp??
