    Bungie said its fake and then made a threatening post on their website about posting "leaked halo 3 info" in their forums.

    Still is pretty cool though. That must suck, somebody leaking information about the worlds best selling game trilogy! They probably wanted to keep it a suprise.

    Well, if you look at the television, it's one of the demo units that were distributed to stores. Even *IF* the company had let a couple beta units go out, I find it completely unlikely that they would EVER let one into a store demo kiosk.

    In reality, I have a much more likely guess as to what this is.

    The 360 can read jpegs and such from discs and removable usb drives. It is very likely someone could make a jpeg, and simply load it up at the store kiosk. Working in a Gamestop, I know that we used the Kiosk for personal fun before/after hours frequently, so it really comes as no surprise that an employee might have fun photoshop'ing a menu like that. Honestly, it sounds like something I would do as a gag.

    It's close to being one of those "demo" televisions but if you look closly you'll see that its got a base and the bottom of the screen is rounded not angular like the "demo" TV's someone just owns a BA LCD or plasma TV. and I'm quite confident its an image coming from a 360. I tried to spoof something like that just for fun.
