halo modding problem

    ok so i want to mod halo 2 campaign just to mess around with. i change that battle rifle and the magnum a bit then i click fix the encryption and ftp back to my xbox. but for some reason i cant get the map to work. i always get a dirty disc error. do i have to do something different for campaign maps to work?
