I changed the resolution and detail level higher on my Halo PC game but it keeps laging after the change. Is there anyway to prevent this without changing back to a lower resolution?

I used Lag Meter and it said that the game was laging. There was no problem with the video card that I currently have.

Typically, increasing screen resolution and/or game details will cause your game to get "jerky". Usual cure is more power in terms of video card. Perhaps adding ram. Check the game's Requirements. Shut down other programs running in the background while playing game as these can consume needed resources. Have never heard of a Lag Meter.

but i wont giev critisism without telling you that:
ram is like tempowary memory, the more you have the faster your computer can run, kind of like a short term memory the more ram you have the better it is :) its good to have alot of it its not to expansive and putting it in is not to difficult
