    1. Now, now, now… Where to begin? I think it is a pretty general consensus on these forums that online play needs classes. I think that what halo has been doing has been more of an equality in multiplayer rather than Inequality. I think it would be cool if you could play as the different forms of covenant and humans. I am aware that there would be several balance issues to work out. Like, the most obvious, Grunts. They would straight up suck online. But there are things you could do to balance them out. For the easiest way, you could simply give them more health, but for a more complicated way you could do things like make passages that only grunts could get into by crouching so they could surprise people and sneak up on them and stuff. They should also have the option to set up those nifty portable plasma turrets. I also think it would be good if we Halo players had the option to play as the flood online and in campaign mode.
    2. BOTS!!! The 2 things that Halo 2 was lacking were a longer campaign, and bots in multiplayer. I really think it would be an improvement if they allowed the usage of bots in online and offline play. One of the features you could do is make it so if there were not enough people to fill up a game it could automatically be filled up with bots. And for the people at home without X-Box Live it would be a good thing to do to pass the time rather than beating it with all the skulls including mythic on for the 500th time. Plus you could make a million more game options for co-operative play online.
    3. I think we need more game options for online play. We should have some cool Vampire type of game for a juggernaut mode. And we should turn Zombies/Dawn of the Dead into a real actual game mode. Not just a player made custom variant. I also think that bots online would be really cool. Especially for a game I though up of. All the players would be inside this fortress trying to defend against an endless wave of flood. Every time someone died to a flood they would join the floods team and they could choose their class as one of them; like an infection, warrior, or fathead (as me and my friends call them). That’s only one of my endless ideas, so be sure to email me if you want to hear more.
    4. Now, for the styling of the campaign I think they should make it more like a mission select/chapter system. There would be several chapters in the game, and for each chapter there would be several selectable missions in different parts of the area where you are that you could do at any time and in any order. The only catch is depending on what order you did it in, it would affect what the levels were all like. For example if one of your missions was to destroy an artillery cannon in one part of the city, if you didn’t do that first one of the other sections of the city would be constantly bombarded by artillery fire. I think that would be a better system to add sort of a free roaming effect to the game along with a cause and effect system. Another thing the campaign and multiplayer needs is FULLY interactive debris. For example if you fired a rocket at a building it would chip a part of the building away. You could keep doing it until the building didn’t have enough stuff to support it so it fell down. You also need to be able to go into virtually EVERY building. Cause that would rock.
    5. Lets see a little squad-based action there, huh? How many times has this happened to you: You have 3 marines following you. There are several snipers just around the corner. They all have SMG’s. They run out and begin blindly firing at the enemy and they shoot one sniper shot that pierces all 3 of their heads, and they drop. I’m not asking for some super strategic squad based shooter. All I ask is that we just have 4 simple commands using the D-pad. Just the basics like: Move out, Hold position, Follow me, and Spread out. And in vehicles Pile in, Hold her steady, Pile out, Move out. Like, if you’ve ever played Star Wars Battlefront you know what I’m talking about. The only thing is, is only the following would be able to give orders: Sergeants, Spartans, Elites, Prophets, and Brutes.
    6. For the online system, I think its great for the most part except 2 major problems. Number one was the fact that guests weren’t allowed in ranked matchmaking games, what the hell is that? Why not? If they’re not allowed in ranked games then at least make a big team training mode so that they have all the options that single players do. Number two is the game selection method. Why not just have to people select exactly what game they want to play and then they join one of those. Oh, and work on the safe respawn system. I have literally spawned in the path of bullets, swords and rockets.
    7. All right bungee, what’s the deal? Why did you have to replace the old weapons? You should have kept them and just added the new ones on. So what I think you should do for Halo 3 is add on the old Halo weapons and then add on all the kick ass weapons that I’m sure your developing for Halo 3. Other than that, I don’t really have any weapons ideas for the next game other than… guess what? The Jackal shield.
    8. Well now, as if you haven’t been spammed with this enough… What we need for vehicles is a human fighter, the pelican, the shadow, the phantom, and basically anything else you can’t pilot. And lets get some new ground vehicles too. The warthog is getting old fast. How about a single person vehicle for the humans sort of like the ghost. Maybe you could add some snow into some part of this game and make like a snowmobile type dealy or something. The bottom line is, make sure that ALL the vehicles are pilot able, and make sure there pilot able in multiplayer too.
    9. Well now, lets address the obvious stuff. The covenant is now split in half so I think it would be cool if you made it so the Elites, Grunts, and Hunters teamed up with the humans. (Like you haven’t heard that suggestion before). I also think it would be cool to have some Engineers running around all over the place, In multiplayer too. And rather than having the vehicle respawn system we could have engineers to fix them. Also, bungee is going to have to do its kick ass thing and think up of some awesome new aliens. . Oh yeah, one more thing… What in the hell are hunters? They’re my favorite Covenant (aside of Grunts), but what in the hell are they? How do they think, talk, or move? Aren’t they just supposed to be a bunch of single cell life forms under armor? Please, explain more to me.
    10. As for the flood, how come we never see Brute, Hunter, Drone, or Prophet infested flood? I can’t imagine how oober strong a flood-infested hunter would be, but it’d be cool. We also need to be able to play as flood in multiplayer, and let me tell you I’ve got some big ideas for this. Ok, so you would have the different classes of the flood: Infection, Warrior, or Carrier. If you played as an infection form you would spawn as a group of 10-20 (whatever) little infections tailing you around in a group. For your only attack as one of them, you should jump on your enemy and infect them and then play as them in warrior form. The only problem is (duh) you’re a little tiny bunch of infections that can be pounded with bullets. You can also fit into the smaller passages. As a warrior form, well, you’re a warrior form. You run around really fast, jump really far, and hit really hard. The only thing is, you won’t be allowed to use weapons because human players as flood will be good enough. I think it would be better if the entire flood were in third person though… possibly an optional thing?
    11. Humans… Its time for some variation on these fellers. How about we make some covert marines made for stealthy stuff and we give them a combat knife. Then you could play as a normal marine (used for bulk forces, suppressive fire, and all that sort of big combat stuff. Another neat feature would be to give them the option to set up those portable turrets. You could also play as a sergeant marine. They could just be stronger and faster than the normal marines. And they could have the ability to give orders.
    12. WoOoOoO! That’s right, we need some space combat levels. Think how cool that would be. A Covenant capital ship, and a Human capital ship sitting near each other and people are flying longsword fighters around kicking the shit out of each other. You could land on the enemy spacecraft and try to take it out by eliminating the pilots, or you could fly around and blow shit up. It might have to be something on a smaller scale than capital ships or it would take limitless amounts of time to program and no XBOX would ever be able to handle it, but, you know.
    13. That’s right… I said it… Halo needs watercraft battles. I think it would be cool to see all bungee’s ideas on covenant boats. I really think it would be cool to have a water level where there would be a couple of giant boats out at sea and smaller watercraft moving all around in the water and boarding each others boat main ships. And these giant main cannons on the ships firing. And why not right? I mean, the covenant is gonna have a foothold on earth, so why not water battles?

    i heard that for xbox live the might take out the lunge for the sword because that is what is causing most of the glitches. at least my friends told me that. they might.

    hey nice ideas, i really hope some of them will show up in halo 3. and i remember that i saw somewhere a pic of a human boat that was made for halo2 but wasnt put in. it looked pretty cool too. oh yeah and the reason for hunter not being in flood form is cause they are made up of a number of different organisms and held together by the suit.

    I dont think u see any flood huntes because of like I said the Boreanssyndrome thing with the fuelrod radiation. U dont c any drones cause they proly fly away or do those quick flies and land in high places when the flood show up. I dont think u see any flood brutes cause they are strong, fearless, and stick in pacts and take the flood out before they get to them. No prophets exceptthat regret thing becuase of all of the protection from the Brutes.

    oh i see sorry jr...

    But one thing that really makes me mad that they better put on Halo 3 is that when humans,elites,grunts,jackals,prophets etc. die theyre freaking eyes are always open. GRRRRR.....

    yea who cares and takes the time to see if there eyes are open anyways. what difference does it make in the game. none so why are you complaining?

    No, that is a very good point. Bungie has taken a great deal of effort to make it as real as possible. That is just a little step that makes it that much more real. Thats like waxing your car but you forgot to wash the passenger side door. One thing I hope is changed is that extremely low ceiling of the banshee. Also the backward flying capability should be there too. The banshee in Halo 2 is not much short of worthless. I sure wouldn't mind a few more weapons. Like a heavy machine gun. Take away that POS brute shot, and put the power back in the shotgun. It's a freakin 8 guage. I don't know if yall know how big that is but it is equal to an 80 caliber. That is freakin huge. Aint no way that you shoot someone with that cannon from even ten feet away and it not seriously mess them up.

    yes i agree i think your should be able to fly backwards in the banshee because your always moving unless you hold down but when you do that you fall to the ground i don't like how you could be about to kill someone and then your to close so you have to do backflip so you don't get hijacked, but by the time you do that and find where they are there sheild is alread charged or they are someplace you cant shoot them.

    Yea but just bc u die doesnt mean ull close ur eyes. not all dead ppl die with their eyes closed.

    Not often do people die with their eyes open. Throat slitting and blows to the head are pretty much it. And even then it is not a guarantee
