I've open my 360 hdd...loaded the maps on pc....modded an old map (acsension)....opened it up in a hex editor......changed the sccenarios/multi/acsension/acsension...to acenarios/multi/tur/turf00000....or how ever many 00's...yea its all resigned and stuff....transfered it to my 360 changed the name to turf.map....and i failed to load!!!! how can i delete the patch.lvl & patch_v3.lvl without it sayin my content is corrupt and unusable?????? AND i know this is an old xbox thread....but i thought i would get no help if i asked it there...
i didnt know you could even mod halo 2 on the new xbox im pretty confused the map has to be on the HD.......and since you cant do that on 360 sounds like that is impossible..
oh i understand but cant really help did you mod the maps in dothalo and then resign them with a map resigner??
alright man....i did all that i've played modded NEW maps since i've had my 360 but i need help with modding the old maps now.....i only said anything about my 360 bc i cant just rename the patch.lvl or delete the patch.lvl without it sayin corrupt files
d4tlh when your vacation is done you need to knock off all the trash posts and make some worthwhile contributions or your vacation will be permanent.
