hard drive config

    i have a p5k motherboard with two 250gb hardrives installed what i wont to do is install a western digital 500gb but when i install it dose not come up on my computer but it dose on bios so i fort i try formating it with vist cd but still dose not come up on computer is there somthing im doing wrong. cheers

    1. Format the drive in windows using the disk management feature.
    2. Check if the drive isn't trying to use a drive letter that's already in use. You can also check and rectify this in the device manager.
