I recentley aquired an ACER 5101 laptop computer which was running fine until I noticed that the hard drive had become partitioned.Originally it had a 80gig hard drive in it but now this has been split into 2 X 35 gig hard drives......WHY ? ? ? ?
The C: drive which contains all of my programms etc is a FAT32 drive while the other half D: is NTFS format.
Is it possible to recreate 1 hard drive again without formatting all my hard drive and loosing all my stuff.
    Any replyies would be appreciated.....

Is there any way I can do this with out having to fork out any more money ? ? ? ?
After looking through the searh and help on the laptop it says I can use DISKPART but I was hoping somebody may have been there before me and already know how to use this DOS program.
