Hard drive problem :-/

    well...i dont really know whats happening to my hard drive. It makes this clicky noise when its loading something and then it stops loading until its done clicking and sometimes it just freezes (actually...a lot of the time) Do you think its just because its old(2 and a half years) or is it something else?
    Its a maxtor 80 gig hd...thats about all i know.

    Clicky Noise = Hard Drive is dying.

    I would back up your data and think about getting a new one pretty soon.

    I would recommend getting either a Seagate or a Western Digital Hard Drive.

    Totally agree.

    I use a Western Digital, very good HDD.

    i ordered me a nice 200 gig SATA western digital :) i cant wait *giggles*
