Hardrive problems!!

    hi, umm im changing hardrives, from a 80GB to a 160 GB and i wanted to know, could i use my computer's recovery disc and just put that into the CD drive when my new HD is intalled? would that work??, and if not then ill have to put a windows XP operating system CD in ??...i already have all my data backed up i just wanted to know if i could actually use my recovery disc with the new HD cause XP is on that isnt it ?...so then it would restore everything to normal , but on my new one, right??... thanks alot

    yes just set your pc to boot from cdrom!
    note that you should use the same branded pc that came with that recovery disk which normally come with operative system and drivers!

    or just use casper xp to clone the old harddrive to the new one
