hardware error

    a few months ago i up graded my power supply to 400 watts.friends had recomended this because i had added so much to my pc.now my pc just crashes at random.when i report the error it says it is a hardware error.i dont think microsoft has a clue,if they do there not saying.could someone please help?

    Post your system specs, it might help.

    It cannot be the power supply (unless it's a duff one)
    As your friends have said, it you keep adding to your system, you eventually will need to up the power supply, or it will keep crashing. It could be something else that's beggining to die on you.

    Post your specs, and maybe an error report if you have one. Also what did you upgrade from ? and have you added more hardware since. 400watt should handle most things, but you never know.
