Hi, I got TheBox api ver:2.60e boot ver :7.0 09/apr 2007 I cant even get the secret menu to appear. I'm in Dublin so based on what I've read here I need to update the firmware using a null modem cable to: http://eko.4shared.com/account/file...H20070705_450eE_api.html?sId=uf0ttWWKOPVNXo6N before it will work. Is this correct? Is it the only solution? So I have been sold something that doesn't work? Is this common or have I just been unlucky?
Hi Pal Im in Cork in similar crap. I would be grateful if you could keep in contact . I will try to suss out a fix re these null modem cables etc. not sure of what to do yet. Mick
No you havent been ripped, you need to load the latest software for the The Box for Ireland before you can access the menu. Have a look at the link you posted and follow the instructions
