   No burning software will recognize it , I have downloaded the latest firmware and still Ahead Nero or Real Player burning software will recognize it. Whats wrong??? It reads cd's fine.

   which nero are you using + you should have got a copy of nero with your plextor
   also try discjuggler and alcohol 120
