have t v as computer monitor

    computer type
    -dell 4600
    -NVidia GeForce 5200 card..128 mb
    -256 memery
    what i would like to do is have t v as my computer screen. before i do purchase any thing else needed i would like input on what to get and what is the best process to get there..any help ..appreciated..thanks

    Not too sure what you're purchasing but I'm assuming its the TV. You'd want a TV with a VGA input or ideally a DVI input.

    Obviously a LCD TV is the most compatible (for computer use but expensive and I used to hear negatives about blurred action) but you can also get rear projection TVs that work very well with computers (cheap and big screen :).

    InNeed, the best solution would be a plasma, projector, or decent HD crt with vga or DVI inputs in, but they are a little spendy... (LOOK AROUND @ PAWN SHOPS) PICKED UP A 50" Sony XBR Plasma for a damn nice price...
