Not too sure what you're purchasing but I'm assuming its the TV. You'd want a TV with a VGA input or ideally a DVI input. Obviously a LCD TV is the most compatible (for computer use but expensive and I used to hear negatives about blurred action) but you can also get rear projection TVs that work very well with computers (cheap and big screen .
InNeed, the best solution would be a plasma, projector, or decent HD crt with vga or DVI inputs in, but they are a little spendy...
