having problem with Windows Installer!

    why not is quad core not useful?

    Games only support single cores, or occasionally two. You simply can't run enough programs to slow a dual core down, not in a way that meant you need extra cores.

    oh the new amd cpu will be out this month...but the highest clock speed is 2ghz...thats low...but it has 2mb L3

    yes but clock speed hasn't been important for ages, look at how much faster a 2.66Ghz Core 2 is than a Pentium D!

    why is that so...then why some games require 3Ghz cpu like Rainbow 6 Vegas...so you're saying that AMD 's new cpu are acceptable...

    They say that because the slowest 3Ghz processor you can get is the bare minimum (a P4 530 or 630). Any processor faster than that one will suffice, even if it has a lower clock speed.
