I recently tried burning some video files to a DVD+R disc using roxio easy media creator 9 and when i click to add the files I'm told" there are no media files in this folder that match the filter settings." To change the filter settings click the filter for media type buttons. These files open and play fine with windows media creator but has anyone had a problem like this and can explain how to change filter setting or where are they? I tried using a codec and this only opens the files to watch also but not add to a disc. Maybe a different program would help.

    2 free apps

load to DVD Shrink, output file as .ISO

load the .ISO to Imgburn to burn it (probably be able to load files to imgburn only / burn)

    done...

You can indeed just load the video files (folder) into ImgBurn. It's called 'build' mode.
