hi, we owen a 2003 Hitachi 51" HD-Ready TV , i went to BestBuy asking about a box to convert regular tv channels into HD. The guy showed me this indoor TV antenna that is HD compatible, i told the guy i wanted to receive those extra channels like 4.1 , 4.2 , 7, 7.1,7.2 ..... ect. and he says that indoor antenna will do it. Anyone have this situation, would this be true ? thanks

It will only work if your TV has a built-in ATSC (digital) tuner.

As your TV was made in 2003 I don't think it has one. You need to buy an Over-The-Air (OTA) set-top box and an antenna. Any antenna will do. The best to use are the older outdoor ones.

    A good set-top box:

Go here to find out what channels you can get with an antenna where you live.
