Hey, i have roxio 5 (worked ok so far, touch wood). anyway when i burn the video_ts file to dvd+r can i put the file as data on the dvd and then burn? also does it matter whether i put the folder in there or just the contents of the video_ts file.

    thanks

The VIDEO_TS folder is about as essential as it gets :) It's what the player looks for when you pop in the disc.

A DVD-Video disc must contain a VIDEO_TS folder with the VOB/IFO/BUP files [bold]and[/bold] an empty AUDIO_TS folder. Also it must be an ISO/UDF disc with some specific ISO and UDF settings.

I don't know Roxio, but I think a burning soft should give you a DVD-Video mode or wizard of some sort, so that you don't care about those settings.
