I have a westinghouse VK42F240S that appears to only recognize 1 of the 4 HDMI inputs such as if watching the directv via HDMI if you turn on the DVD recorder & later turn it back of the TV says no signal untill you unplug the HDMI cables & reconnect them. Whats wrong ?

Sounds kind of like a sync issue or something. I know most newer HDTV's have a technology called HDMI-CEC. When you plug in a device, that is also the same brand as the tv, it will "sync" up with it via HDMI. When I was messing with this stuff on my g/f's Samsung LCD, it was doing something similar to what yours is doing.

There has to be a setting or something on the tv maybe. I don't remember exactly what I did to fix it, or if I did fix it, but I'll try and get back to you.
