I successfully unlocked my AT&T Samsung A437 using the method described in this thread, but when I re-inserted my AT&T SIM card, my contact list was all but wiped out. All I have left are a couple of numbers I stored on my SIM card and 7 numbers AT&T provides for services (checking bill balance, directory assistance, etc.). These latter numbers seem to be stored in the phone, but maybe they are hardwired in. All of my missing numbers were stored in the phone, rather than on the SIM card. Has anyone else experienced this?
new awesome problem for you geniuses out there, I used Samsung PC studio multimedia manager, latest version, to put some ringtunes on my sgh a437, it put them in a folder called music, supposedly hierarchically next to the downloaded audio folder, but it can't be accessed by the phone, or even explored by any part of samsung pc studio, it can only add more tunes, i can see the files only when selecting a ringtone for a specific contact, it shows up when browsing right/left from the other audio folders, but the ringtone will never play. so now I have no space left on my phone and no way to delete those files I have tried all the resets, the files are still there is there a windows program that lets you explore your phone's folders? even the hidden/locked/restricted etc.?
