Help an idiot with a Digicam and PC

    I have ....
    Sony DCR-TRV255E
    PC + DVD burner Pioneer DVR-108

    I have installed the software that came with the Cam,but when I try to get my movie off the Cam on to PC the software wont recognise my burner..


    I have found a way to stream the movie on to my PC but I dont know how to save it

    Can anyone recomend :-

    A) Software that will be able to work with my camera
    B) A program that will save my video stream
