help converting avi to dvd with mac

    i need some help. i just bought a new super drive for my mac G4 and i am running osx 10.2. i have some movies that are in avi format. i cant figure out how to get them to dvd format. can anyone help>

    toast 7..

    encoding does take a while..

    you may also want to check out ffmpegx.. i think it does have a setting for avi to dvd. and it is free

    what version of mac do you need to run toast 7 i have 10.2. do i need to upgrate to tigger?

    you need pretty much tiger...

    Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later

    unless you already have panther.. just do the software update.

    alright so i can drop avi into toast and it'll burn it to dvd....what if the movie is split into 2 avi files? any way to join em?
