O K I am back, I checked out the sites the first one makes things really simple {how I like it] The DVD has 16 tracks and in between tracks is a lot of rubbish. I got to the stage where I removed first lot of rubbish and went through all 16 tracks but obviously did something wrong as I only got the ending. After you select start, then go to end of scene and select end...then ok what next {for remaining 15 songs}? I am slowly getting there, thanks for your patience.

I have "tinkered" with the project several times. I can cut out the crap for each chapter but what do you do with each chapter after the "crap" has been edited. I only seem to end up with LAST chaper I have edited..........hey guys slowly making progress, but going "loopy" all the while.

According to this http://www.dimadsoft.com/affiliate.php there are a few opportunities to get full versions of MenuEdit, DvdReMake and DvdReMake Pro for free.

Looks like you definetely fit into the last group (at least). :D So just mail us (sales at dimadsoft dot com) your DimadSoft.com user name with explanation.

In brief, non Pro version has everything to reduce the size of the disk for higher quality backup (plus merge two full DVDs tool). Absolutely no knowledge of DVD structure and programing is needed to use it.

Pro version is for real editing:

Well I am still trying. I have followed in detail instructions at home.comcast.net site, Backing up DVD with Decrypter and Shrink, I am ok up to step 39 but just cannot work out what to do after I cut rubbish from each frame, I still end up with only the last frame cut.

I agree Petes pretty clever and the guide simple to follow. I can cut rubbish out after each track but I cant save each track after I have edited it. I know it must be something simple I am NOT doing, how do I save EVERY edited part.

I have a music DVD, it has a number of songs on it and in between each song there are interviews{only short ones} I would like to cut out these interviews so that all songs are joined into "Interview Free" DVD. I can do all of the steps mentioned by ScubaPete and others but I just dont know how to save each "song" after interviews have been removed.

its all there... are you using same programs as well, dvd decrypter, dvd shrink, and nero?
shrink will do all you re-authoring, no need to save to hard drive if you are going to burn after you have re-authored. your back up will be a copy, and from there, you can always copy dvd to dvd.
