Hello, I'm also looking for avi to dvd.

When burning with one of the programs you list here; will the dvd play the files continiously in the order they are burned on the dvd? (For example episode 1, epsiode 2..). Does it come with a menue, if not how does it start when you boot the dvd? (I'm quite new to this)

If you don't use a menu, files play in order.

ConvertX and Nerovision both allow for making menus. Nerovision often has audio video sync problems. Here's a link to a thread to help with that:

    I prefer ConvertX myself.

Once again the best solution is to spend the $30-$40 for a DVD player that also plays AVI/divx files and you won't have to worry about converting plus you'll be able to store more files per disk.

    Thank you for the help!

I did have a modded Xbox for all files, but it suddenly stopped working so I'm just doing this as a crisis solution for an old dvd-player I have. I'll get another Xbox (if I'll find one).
