Help..Firewire card , whats the difference?

    Guys whats the difference between a 1394a and 1394?

    There is no difference. If the a is ommited, it is IEEE1394a. There is IEEE1394a and IEEE1394b. The be version has a higher transfer speed, but stay away from it because they are known for incompatibility issues.
