Hi, I just ran my writer through DVD Identifier. I bought some 8X fujifilm DVD+r's and Khypermedias but can't write them. I was hoping if I had a firmware upgrade, it might work?! I have a Memorex burner. you can check this site. http://tdb.rpc1.org just know ... and improperly flashed drive will ruin it and void any warranties.
