Help. How do I get rid of echo/reverb on audio files?

    I have an mp3 file which already has some echo/reverb. At the end of every sentence there is a slight reverb (like an echo. Its annoying and I would like to get rid of it or minimize it if possible. Any suggestions? I have soundforge software.
