Craig (Ahead Software), The problem I have with the chapter number using NVE2 isn't so much the "redundancy" (though I think it should allow me to turn off numbering), my problem is when there is a 2nd page, it starts number back at [bold]1[/bold]! For example, I have a title I'm creating with 8 chapters and on page one, it shows the first four chapters, numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4. On page 2, chapters 5-8, they are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4 instead of the intended 5, 6, 7, and 8. Thanks! Bob.
