I have the Spider Chip.
Can I format the G dive or any other of the drives?
Where do I get the app to format?

 

Do you have an installer disk ..you must have if you put evox on...

 

I made the disk whit nero.

 

well couldnt he just load evox though ftp? thats what i did.

 

What app do I need and where do I get them? So I can do it.

 

Don't think evox has a format option....look on the torrents for slayers 2.6...not hard to find..but it will help us no end if you can tell us what installer disk you used...like "what's it called??"..you burned it with nero doesn't help..I burned my latest with Gnomebaker...doesn't tell me what it is...but if you boot it you should get an option to format single partitions...format F:\

 

I don't think that I used a installer disk. I made 2 disks one whit the bios.bin and a dummy file to flash the chip. The other one was whit EvolutionX dashboard and a dummy file to get the FTP to conect the PC and xbox and put the files in the C drive. It was a year ago.
Is slayers 2.6 a app you put on the xbox app folder or is it a installer disk that I have to put in a disk whit nero? How big in MB is slayers 2.6?

 

Slayers comes as an iso image and varies...the smallest I have seen is 240MB and the largest was a full 650MB cd...but you get all the apps and emulators, and it's real easy to use...you can even restore the xbox back to factory settings if you ever want to sell it unmodded..

There are lots of installer disks..x-wizard, bonesX, aid, xboxhackers...but I don't think any are as good as slayers for a firsttimer

 

When I get Slayers do I put it in the xbox HD or do I backup a dick whit nero like if it was a game backup.

This is to fix Shattered Union game I need to update my bios whit newer ones IND-BIOS 5003 or X2 4981.06 bios are this the new ones for my chip?I have the Spider Chip.Do I put the bios That I what to flash into the C:/BIOS folder and then choose Load BIOS from Hard Drive and flash it?or do I need to flash them whit a CD-RW?
Do you think that the game will work whit newer 2X bios? It dose work whit IND-BIOS 5003 but I do not know if that is for my chip.

 

Hiya...with slayers it's already iso'd up..just burn it as a saved project/disk image and run it in the xbox..the menu's are self explanatary...
Now for the bios..look up your chip here http://www.xbox-scene.com/modchips.php

That should tell you which work and which don't..and if the chip supports flashing from the hdd then you have found the right place..The bios needs to be called bios.bin
I don't use the spider..very hard to get in the UK for some reason..and very expensive.. I don't like solderless things except for temp installs to repair dead HDD situations

 

if ur trying to still flash ur chip, u can do what i did. if u modchip has a dash like my x3ce, then go to it, ftp to ur computer, then flash it that way. thats what i did and i found it very easy.

 

I do not see a dash for my Chip. When I make a flash dick will the chip flash or do I have to do someting to it? At xbox-scene it sed that it could be Flash Upgradeble with Xbox software. What software do I use?Is this whit my HD C:/Bios folder? I can see all the bios but I do not see where it tell you for what chip they are for.

1. u ftp using a software called FlashFXP on ur pc and u connect to ur xbox via ip.

2. u will need MIRC to access xbins and FlashFXP. seach for a tut on xbox-scene.com

3. well for xbins, u se MIRC to access xbins and get ur log in like a server, then u enter it into FlashFXP and u will enter the server and be able to download anything u need.

to download xbins, u use MIRC. and im not sure where u put the bios, i would guess the c:/bios folder. with my chp i can just flash it through internet explorer with an ip, but idk about ur chip. its different. flash upgradable mean u can update the software used to flash ur chip.
