Aus I'm assuming that the "date" the other night went well. Are going out again??? If so don't screw this one up either. hehehe. Frisbee is good. You can just sit and L@@K at the "happenings" as well. That'll give you an idea, if she comments of different people, of what kind of person she is and if you want to spend more time with her. ....gm btw ICE CREAM PARLORS are a great place to go as well. It shows her that you don't think she's FAT and that you like to indulge every once in a while. ON more than beer, football, computers, an so on...you get the picture.
i need to get back in the loop. it's so much harder having to chat birds up when you haven't really had to in years! i'm glad you didn't fork up too much brandon.. i know yank totty can be quite fussy!
I'm a little late to this one.... But for another date.... try taking a camera with you and going for a walk. Take turns taking pictures of random things. Don't make it about taking pictures of each other. Make it about art, architecture and maybe some street photography.
zippy what a great idea. NEVER thought of that one here in my part of the country. Aus how are things?? We need an update!! Bet you never thought that airing your private life on the net would be so demanding.......hehehe. ...gm edit: seems my grammar ain't so good today....
Its not really original, but it can be great. Find a coffeshop, not a mainstream one like starbucks, but a nose cosy coffee shop. get a nice secluded table for 2 or a sofa if there is one, in the corner, and conversation just spirals out. Great if you want to get to know someone.
i've known her for over a year, bucko. not much left for those lines. we hit little shops a good bit, anyway.
if she's on the artistic side then perhaps throwing bowls/other pottery would be a good idea,(technique of bowl making not actually throwing for the less informed ones of the bunch) or painting them cuz I've seen some places around that allow u to buy some premade pottery then paint it to your hearts content then get it glazed. makes for a great time and souvenir.
suggested by someone at some point, faqman, and i've actually got something in the works for the future. thanks for strengthening the idea, though.
you all have a new homework assignment: help me come up with present ideas for her birthday (december 18) and for christmas. art prints featuring horses and renaissance/celtic art would be cool.
i was just cruising ebay, too. 'tis a great start, amigo. i've got a few weeks yet to buy stuff, so pour in all the suggestions you can.
are u sure that u want to get her somthing that just hangs there as opposed to something that makes for an excuse for being with her like a party game or something of that nature. or perhaps just for laughs hide in her chimney and suprise her in a santa outfit. if a chimney isn't a option i still think that it would be amazing if she wakes up to see u in a santa outfit around 2 a.m. with the present
we got to school together, but her house is 4 hours from mine. i'll only get to see her on her birthday for a few hours (she'll be in a town north of me with her family) and for a week or so after new years, before school starts again. there's really no placing myself around there at 2 AM. >.< i bought her a zippo (first she's ever had) with a magnificient stallion painted on the side--she loves it and has been carrying it a lot. now, i'd just like of like to pick up something she can keep in her room to remind her of me (hence, a painting) and then maybe something else she'll carry....jewelry, or something more useful. i hope that kind of clears up my blurred lines of thought.
how about some kind of timepiece with some kind of lovy duvy kind of message thats said on the hour or somthing
Maybe a horse tooth or something on a necklace to remind her of your furriness [/nonserious] Maybe you guys can go take a picture of you both (Or just yourself if you're greedy ) and put it in a locket or something and whenever she opens it, she'll think of you.
