HELP!! all of the dvd`s i burn even with different types of discs also the name brands freeze and i am using a new dell xps harddrive i use convertxtodvd and Nero also shrink i have tryed them all i just don`t understand why as i have a new pioneer dvd player which plays every format of disc and my friends have the same problem on their players with my discs it is driving me crazy any help would be greatly appreciated before i tear all of my hair out!! ps i have also installed 3 in 1 codecs. my drive supports dvd+/- discs
firstly u need to post us a copy of your burn log from nero,this will help us to sort out your problem quicker make sure you never burn movies any higher than 4x this speed is for best results,and only adds afew more minutes on the overall process manually set burning preferences to 4,300 i use,burning to close to the edge of the disc can cause errors of this sort never run any other programs in the background,disable everything u dont need running,you need as much free memory as possible,512 ideally is great post your burn log and we will be able to help you further thnx m8

Sorry i didn`t think my other post was in the right place so i started a new thread as soon as i have a nero log i will post it i don`t have one now as i have been using convertxtodvd as nero can be one big problem and i have been burning at 4x speed for better results thankyou for your reply

By the way you don`t know how to enable DMA on a windows XP media centre operating system do you? it isn`t as simple as windows XP unfortunately!
