help! my videos that are 30 minutes play like 2:33 mins :(

    it's a weird bug... like when i download a mpg or avi, it's suppose to be 30 min but it comes out only 2:30 or something short like that. If you manually seek it into the middle though, it'll jump to maybe 15:00 min mark but start playing in seconds again and play out for 45 seconds. Anyone here know what i am talking about? its so frustrating =/
